How to Find Your Camera's IP Address

Port forwarding allows external access to your camera through your router.

BT Home Hub / Smart Hub

Steps:

  1. 1Open a browser and go to 192.168.1.254
  2. 2Log in with your admin password (on router label)
  3. 3Go to 'Advanced Settings'
  4. 4Click 'Firewall'
  5. 5Select 'Port Forwarding'
  6. 6Click 'Add New'
  7. 7Enter Application Name
  8. 8Enter Port Range (Start/End) for both Inbound and Translate To
  9. 9Select Protocol
  10. 10Select Device (your camera)
  11. 11Click 'Apply'

Note: BT Smart Hub 2 has a cleaner interface than older Home Hubs.
