How to Find Your Camera's IP Address

Port forwarding allows external access to your camera through your router.

Default Credentials
Printed on router label (no default username)

Steps:

  1. 1Open a browser and go to fritz.box or 192.168.178.1
  2. 2Log in with your Fritz!Box password
  3. 3Go to 'Internet' → 'Permit Access' → 'Port Sharing'
  4. 4Click 'Add Device for Sharing'
  5. 5Select your camera from the device list (or enter IP manually)
  6. 6Click 'New Sharing'
  7. 7Select 'Port sharing' option
  8. 8Enter Application name
  9. 9Select Protocol (TCP/UDP)
  10. 10Enter Port range (from/to)
  11. 11Click 'OK' and then 'Apply'

Note: Fritz!Box has excellent MyFRITZ! service for remote access without port forwarding.
