How to Find Your Camera's IP Address

Port forwarding allows external access to your camera through your router.

Linksys

Classic router brand with reliable performance

Admin URL
192.168.1.1 or myrouter.local
Default Credentials
admin / admin or custom (newer models)

Steps:

  1. 1Open a browser and go to 192.168.1.1 or myrouter.local
  2. 2Enter your router password
  3. 3Go to 'Security' → 'Apps and Gaming' → 'Single Port Forwarding' or 'Port Range Forwarding'
  4. 4For Single Port: Enter Application Name, External/Internal Port, Protocol, and Device IP
  5. 5For Port Range: Enter Application Name, Start/End Ports, Protocol, and Device IP
  6. 6Check 'Enabled' checkbox
  7. 7Click 'Save' or 'Apply'

Note: Newer Linksys routers use the Linksys app and may have a different interface.
