How to Find Your Camera's IP Address

Port forwarding allows external access to your camera through your router.

Steps:

  1. 1Open a browser and go to your router's IP or router.synology.com
  2. 2Log in to Synology Router Manager (SRM)
  3. 3Go to 'Network Center' → 'Port Forwarding'
  4. 4Click 'Create' to add a new rule
  5. 5Select 'Built-in application' or 'Custom port'
  6. 6For Custom: Enter port numbers and protocol
  7. 7Select the destination device (your camera)
  8. 8Click 'OK' to save
  9. 9The rule will be active immediately
